Salmon SEEson Chum Walk at Carkeek Park

Join Piper Hanson of Mid Sound Fisheries and the Carkeek Watershed Community Action Project for a Salmon SEEson Chum Walk!

We’ll stroll along Piper’s Creek, exploring the history of Carkeek Park, the role of community stewardship to rebuild the ecological landscape, and the fostering of the Chum run. We’ll swing by the main Beaver Dam to learn more about these incredible mammals, a.k.a. Salmon's best friend.

When: Sunday, November 10, 2024 | 11:00am - 12:00pm

Where: Carkeek Park, 950 NW Carkeek Park Rd, Seattle, WA 98177

**We’ll meet at Carkeek Park in the lower lot by the kiosk - See Below**

Come prepared for November weather with warm clothes and waterproof shoes, as the trail can be muddy and filled with puddles. If there is a storm 24-hours or less prior to the walk it will be postponed for safety.

To respect the wildlife we’ll be viewing, please leave four-legged furry friends at home.
